Palo de Mayo

Nicaragua

For the Palo de Mayo celebrations in Bluefields, Nicaragua, we produced a cinematic event film designed to capture the energy, culture and atmosphere of one of the country's most vibrant traditions.

Rather than creating a conventional event recap, our goal was to immerse viewers in the experience itself. Through dynamic cinematography, rhythmic editing and carefully crafted storytelling, the film transports audiences into the heart of the celebration—where colorful costumes, music and dance fill the streets and bring the community together.

The focus of the project was to preserve the authentic spirit of the event while presenting it through a cinematic lens. By highlighting both the movement and emotion of the celebration, the film conveys the unique character of Palo de Mayo and the cultural identity of Bluefields.

The resulting aftermovie does more than document an event. It sparks curiosity, communicates the atmosphere of the celebration and inspires viewers to experience it for themselves. Through immersive visuals and a strong sense of place, the film invites audiences to discover a side of Nicaragua that many travelers have never seen.
